INTRODUCTION
The momentum in the indian agricultural sector is changing for the better with positive demand and supply scenarious ensuring the rapid growth of the sector for the next several years. However, lack of scale and an integrated channel to link the "farm gate to the food plate" has prevented the transfer of the desired technology, infrastructure, materials to the farmers thus adversely affecting the availability of required processing varieties of farm produce to the industry. Realizing the need to address the above challenges and oasis of opportunities,AURA Greenport Privated Limited has embarked on the development of "Integrated Agro Food Parks" (IAFP) in Gujrat with strategic partnership with Wageningen University and Research Center, the Netherlands and Yes Bank Limited.
